Creating a new announcement

You can create one or more announcements each day using the “assign” tools in Pineaptitude. Here’s how to create a new announcement.

  1. On your dashboard (Click here to open your dashboard) click the AnnounceĀ button.
  2. In the popup window, select the Class you’d like to post the assignment list to. You can also create a new classroom if you need to.
  3. If you’ve designated a default template, it will load and you can edit the text as needed.
  4. All content posted using the “assign” tool gets the current date as its title by default. You can change the way the date is displayed or your time zone.
  5. You can also change templates if you’d like.
  6. If you’re not using a template, you can simply start typing.
  7. You can format your content as needed.
  8. When you’re ready to post your content, click theĀ Announce button. This will make your content public immediately.
