Create your first classroom

Classrooms are the basic way Pineaptitude organizes your content. You need at least one classroom to use Pineaptitude. Follow these steps to create your first classroom.

From your Pineaptitude dashboard (Click here to open your dashboard), follow these steps:

  1. Click on any of tools to start the process.
  2. Click + Classroom at the top of the window that appears.
  3. Enter a name for your classroom.
  4. Click Save to create your classroom.

Creating an assignment

You can create one or more lists of assignments each day using the “assign” tools in Pineaptitude. Here’s how to create a new assignment:

  1. On your dashboard (Click here to open your dashboard) click theĀ AssignĀ button.
  2. In the popup window, select the Class you’d like to post the assignment list to. You can also create a new classroom if you need to.
  3. If you’ve designated a default template, it will load and you can edit the text as needed.
  4. All content posted using the “assign” tool gets the current date as its title by default. You can change the way the date is displayed or your time zone.
  5. You can also change templates if you’d like.
  6. If you’re not using a template, you can simply start typing.
  7. You can format your content as needed.
  8. When you’re ready to post your content, click theĀ AssignĀ button. This will make your content public immediately.

Creating an announcement

  2. In the popup window, select the Class you’d like to post the assignment list to. You can also create a new classroom if you need to.

  4. All content posted using the “assign” tool gets the current date as its title by default. You can change the way the date is displayed or your time zone.
