School may be out for the summer, but your digital classroom still lives on.

Here’s a quick checklist of things to update and review on your classroom website.

1. Update any references to years

Check over your website for any reference to the past school year and update as needed.

2. Update classes

If you changed classes or grade levels, make sure to update this content as well.

3. Update schedules

If you post your class schedule online, either update it now for any changes you know that will come next school year or make a remind to yourself in your phone or calendar to update it as that information becomes available.

4. Review content

If it’s been a while since you updated pages and your contact information, it can be a good idea to take a few minutes and make sure everything is still accurate and up to date.

5. Integrate Pineaptitude

If you aren’t already, consider integrating Pineaptitude tools to post homework and assignment lists, announcements and highlights to your site. It’s easy and free to create an account β€” and we have plenty of ways to share content with students and families.

6. Ditch your site

If you’re tired of messing with complicated page editors or site management tools, you can also consider eliminating your classroom site in favor of Pineaptitude.

Although our service is designed to integrate well with numerous page builders, it can also be used to build a simple, standalone classroom website.

Every classroom gets a direct link that can serve as a simple but effective classroom homepage with easy access to homework, announcements and highlights.

All of these tools are great alternatives to assignment notebooks, email and class newsletters.
